AnnieAnne Evarts wanted to create a business of her own after having worked in the hospitality business for several years following graduation from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Anne learned the wedding invitation business from several established professionals. She then launched By Invitation in Lyons, Colorado in 1987. In 1990 Anne and her husband, Mike, moved to Combined Locks, Wisconsin and continued operating By Invitation in their new hometown.
